Hi,  I have been reading everything I can get my eyes on regarding MaxiSys MS906 Pro,  I got what I thought was a decent deal (3rd party seller) and wanted a deeper diagnostic ability for my Jeep (2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee).  Got the MS906 Pro for a decent price nut not having any luck with it  I Even got Auto Auth.

I have literally been up since yesterday looking into this and I have come to a few conclusions, mainly that I am an idiot and when my wife finds out what I spent on this I may need to go into hiding even though my intentions were to same money with it in the long term.

I don't want to be "That guy" asking stupid questions and offering nothing in return but I have 2 very basic questions  that are going to determine if this unit gets returned tomorrow and I am hoping someone may be kind enough to help me out with just a short response.

One of my biggest factors was the ability to program new smart keys that my wife seems to lose every other month and even going to a trusted locksmith I am going to have to sell a kidney soon to get any more keys programmed.

#1)  Is it even possible to program smart keys (push button start) with this device or not???  I have AutoAuth Access and even some bypass cables???  I am pulling what I have left of my hair out trying to figure this out and every video or article just leads me further down the rabbit hole?  I can get passed SGA gateway but no IMMO KEY options show up that are any help no matter which route I take to get there (and yeah, I ran a 100 feet of Cat6 out my window to my barn, no luck there)

#2)  After making the purchase I saw that the  MaxiSys MS906 Pro is disconnected (feel free to insult me, everyone else I know has for dropping crazy money on a discontinued scanner and AutoAuth).

So to sum it all up I have it packed up and ready to return.  I can get along with my other scanners just fine and will  should be able to afford replacement keys for my wife until either the jeep or me get scrapped by her.

I just really need some help, I am drawing the line at programming keys so if anyone can confirm it is not possible on a 2019 Jeep GC with this scanner and AutoAuth alone I would be so grateful.

Thank in advance for any and all advice!
    joe

According to Autel, the 906pro can program key fobiks.
Go to: RFH (Radio Frequency Hub)/Special Function program ignition fobiks.
    Software version higher than JEEP_V6.40

Everything is on the RFH / under special function. Erase ignition fobiks, program ignition fobiks etc etc...

Thanks for the reply I sincerely appreciate it.  Something weird is happening because my scanner is telling me Jeep Ver_11.20, which is my Gen 3 WK 2019 GC, is not supported and only 11.40 + is now per my scanner.  I would send a screen shot but it is packaged  and heading back.

Long story short, I bought it from an "Certified Autel Reseller",  not sure if that is a thing".  I though I was buying from Autel US for some reason but it did register with Autel and my Authauth acct no prob and could update and do everything else so I don't think I bought a knock-off.  Ammyway, it is being returned.  Just makes me wonder how I asked for a VIN check for comparability, was told the same as you posted and I get this???

Anyway, Not putting Autel down, they have Great tools, solid Rep. I contacted them several times and never heard back so I am washing my hands and moving on.

But I did get the job done with an old BT Dongle a $15 App Licences for an App
I am sure all Jeep folks know.  Took about 10 minutes.  Kind of shocked it worked, and with the cheapest matching Prox Smart keys I could buy (which means I will probably be doing it again in a month.

Nonetheless, If I hear anything I will let you know but it seems like the seller who I bought from took another 200 off which IMO seems like he is getting rid of them for some reason.

EDIT:  Sorry was trying to do too many things at once and never proofread and forgot a few things but did want too mention I had no issue getting through AutoAuth and into the RFH (and every other module as well).  I only had about 5 Options in RFH, cant remember them all but I know I could verify current fobs, located fob and a few other random things.  Just no options for erasing, modifying, programming new, etc.  I spent hours going through any other modules I though could have any relation but came up with nothing.  If it was not for the ability to add keys I would definitely keep it.  Tech ii is more my speed and having an interface like the Autel and some of its functionalities was awesome.  My fault, I should have verified i was dealing with Autel Direct and that is on me.  Gonna take my time now and find the right tool directly with Autel.
